Arsenal of Democracy Print

Sorry, currently out of stock
In 1940 President Franklin D. Roosevelt promised to aid our ally Great Britain in its fight against Nazi Germany—calling on the industrial strength of the Big Three and Detroit’s “Arsenal of Democracy” to arm the allies.

After Pearl Harbor, Detroit responded with a fury, producing armaments and vehicles at record paces. At one point Ford’s Willow Run plant was building B-24 Liberator bombers at the breakneck rate of one every 60 minutes!

This design commemorates Detroit’s manufacturing strength, and is a reminder of what this city can do when it rolls up its sleeves and gets to work.

The poster is printed on high-quality paper and is perfectly suitable for framing. Hang it in your house, apartment or office and everyone will admire your penchant for good graphic design, and your gratitude to those who have done so much to protect our freedoms.
