Classic Wooden Boat Ornament

This ornament, modeled after a vintage Chris-Craft, makes a great gift for the classic boat restorer or to remember past adventures in the water. It depicts a wooden boat with a short windshield, two rows of seating and a US flag design on the back. The bottom is solid red embedded with glitter. All sides are nicely detailed.

This ornament was hand-crafted, using the same techniques that originated in the 1800's. Molten glass is mouth-blown into finely carved molds, then a hot solution of liquid silver is poured inside. The ornament is then hand-painted and glittered in a series of labor-intensive steps.
