Michigan State Forests Silhouette Tote
Our great outdoors wouldn’t be what it is without its forests. In addition to homing countless animal species, Michigan state forests make up nearly 3,000 campsites, 7,000 miles of canoe streams, and 880 miles of hiking and biking paths.
Created under the DNR, the Michigan Forest Resources Division is dedicated to responsibly managing Michigan’s state forests and promoting the care and benefits of community trees. Their staff has dedicated time and training to managing fires, preventing pests, and encouraging sustainable land use to ensure the health of Michigan forests for now, and for the future.
Michigan forests aren’t just for the birds. Hiking and camping are great ways to learn about our native species, get away from the daily grind, and spend time with friends and family. Show your love for our local forests with this canvas tote bag! Durable enough to carry your water bottle and books wherever you go, stylish enough to start a conversation at the local coffee joint.
Peninsulas is proud to donate 10% of the revenue to support DNR community forestry programs.
