Acorn Trail
Available for your next adventure! Acorn Trail is the Peninsulas' glamping experience in Northern Michigan. Just a skip away from our store in Cross Village, yet tucked away enough to make you feel like you're truly out 'in the woods.'
Acorn Trail is 10 acres of forest with winding trails located a short walk from the idyllic town of Cross Village. A short walk or bike ride from the Lake Michigan beach and within striking distance of all that Northern Michigan has to offer. Campers can enjoy the solitude of the woods or take a short walk to the village and enjoy great food and drink at Legs Inn, of one of Michigan's most iconic restaurants with a spectacular views of Lake Michigan.

The Canvas Cabin is a 16' x 20' safari style tent set on an elevated wood platform. The tent has a full mosquito net lining. There is an 8' front porch and 5' rear porch that are both covered by a canvas fly for shade and weather protection. 
Acorn Trail is a 10 acre wooded property. Populated mostly with deciduous trees and wild underbrush. Guest parking is located approximately 250 feet from the campsite. There is a well marked and level path connecting them as well as a wheeled cart to help transport your gear. The woods also have approximately 1/2 mile of groomed paths for exploring.
Inside the tent you will find a queen-sized canopy bed with a memory foam mattress.
There is a sitting area with two arm chairs as well as tables and storage for your gear.
The portable electric-flush toilet is located on the rear porch in a private tent / outhouse.
There is also a fire-pit with cooking grate, large supply of firewood, and seating.
