Northern Cardinal Patch
Description
The official bird of no fewer than seven eastern states, the Northern Cardinal has led countless people to open a field guide or pick up binoculars for the first time. Cardinals have been extending their range northward for decades, in part, it seems, due to the spread of feeders filled with sunflower seeds. The vivid red male brightens any snowy day, and both males and females sing in the spring.
Bird Collective donates a portion of its profits to bird conservation groups that work to protect birds and their habitat. All embroidered bird patches have an iron-on backing, but the adhesive is temporary. For durability, we recommend sewing or using a permanent, flexible fabric glue.
