Big Mac Beer Mixer Glass

In 1958, looking to capitalize on the engineering marvel that was less than a year away from connecting Michigan’s two peninsulas, the Menominee-Marinette Brewing Company launched a new brand, “Big Mac Beer.”

Unfortunately, marketing and packaging blunders coupled with increasing competition from national brands took Big Mac Beer out of the picture — and by 1961, the M-M brewery was gone as well.

The beer may be gone, but the bridge is still there. Celebrate one of Michigan’s original local brews and the bridge that unites us all with this Michigan inspired mixer glass.
