When a section of the iconic Tunnel of Trees closed for repairs in 2026, travelers were sent on an unexpected detour through our beloved landscapes. We figured if everyone was being forced to take the scenic route anyway, we might as well have some fun with it. Designed entirely in-house by the Peninsulas team, this limited-edition tee is our lighthearted, tongue-in-cheek tribute to one of Northern Michigan's most talked-about road projects.

The custom design features the official M-119 highway marker and the famous Tunnel of Trees sign, alongside a muscle car attempting a wild stunt over the construction zone while a few bewildered woodland spectators watch the chaos unfold.
