Great Lakes Freighter Holiday Coaster

Everyone knows Santa has a flying sleigh. But when it comes to delivering Christmas presents to an entire Great Lakes State, sometimes you need something with a little more cargo capacity.

Our Great Lakes Freighter Holiday Coaster imagines Santa trading in his sleigh for the S.S. Kristopher Kringle, a North Pole freighter loaded with presents and steaming through the Straits of Mackinac on Christmas Eve. With the Mackinac Bridge decked out for the season and the Northern Lights glowing overhead, it’s a playful Michigan spin on Santa’s annual delivery route. Adapted from original Peninsulas holiday artwork and reworked especially for the coaster format.

One of the many coasters we offer, designed to be mixed, matched, or collected over time. This 4" × 4" matte ceramic coaster is cork-backed for surface protection and printed in-house by Peninsulas. At approximately 1/4" thick, it has a substantial feel while still being made for everyday life—set beside morning coffee, evening cocktails, hot cocoa, and the moments in between. Hand washing with mild soap is recommended to help preserve the vibrancy of the design.
