Some Assembly Required Cards
$16.50
Description
The artwork on this card is a holiday tribute to the iconic “Detroit Industry” fresco mural by Mexican artist Diego Rivera (1886-1957). Rivera created the 27-panel masterpiece in the eleven months between March 1932 and April 1933. The four towering walls of Rivera Court are the crown jewel of The Detroit Institute of Arts.
This scene is based on the South Wall, depicting assembly line workers putting the finishing touches on Detroit versions of the official vehicle of the North Pole.
So if you’re tired of all the holiday cards that feature the expected images of the North Pole, this is the card for you. Colorful and creative, it will put a smile on the faces of all those who receive it.
