City of Champions Sticker

Description
Detroit is a sports town. Some years are good, some not so much.

The 1930s were great years — athletes from Detroit and around the state could not be stopped. During the 1935-36 season the Tigers, Red Wings, and the Lions (yes, THOSE Lions) all won their respective championships.

Joe Louis was dominating the ring, Gar Wood was the king of power boating, and Eddie “The Midnight Express” Tolan was setting Olympic sprinting records. Michigan athletes were unstoppable.

“The City of Champions” trophy was presented to Detroit by President Roosevelt, and resides in the Detroit Historical Museum to this day.

No need to pick a team to support. Display this sticker, support the whole city.

This City of Champion Sticker is sure to add style to anything you stick it on.
