Detroit Sunset Sticker

The Detroit skyline, a freighter, and a beautiful sunset… three of our favorite things. 

Detroit’s motto, “Speramus meliora; resurget cineribus,” translates to “We hope for better things; it shall arise from the ashes.” The motto was first created in response to a terrible fire that swept through the city in 1805. Without a professional brigade to respond to the fire, Detroiters formed a “bucket brigade”, passing buckets of water from person to person, from the river to the blazing city.

Detroit has gone through more than its fair share of struggle. But what has kept it going, from the rough times to this new era, has been a community that cares.
