Tunnel of Trees Scenic Heritage Route (M-119), originally called Lakeshore Drive or Road No.131, leads from Harbor Springs through Cross Village. It is the most picturesque drive on the shores of Lake Michigan. The scene is ever changing. At times the trail is hundreds of feet above the lake, yet soon it leads into the dense forest.
